The IGC, in partnership with the Ugandan Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, and the Bank of Uganda, hosted a two-day conference on public private partnerships (PPPs) in Kampala, Uganda.
The conference comprised eight sessions focusing on different elements of PPPs:
- Overview of PPPs
- Key institutional decisions - ex ante
- PPP project development, feasibility studies
- Bidding process
- Project management - avoiding mistakes
- Case studies, lessons from success stories (1)
- Case studies, lessons from success stories (2)
- Past experience, presentation of pipeline projects, ideas of the future in the region
