The conference on “Dimensions of Transformation in Ethiopia: Reflection from Recent Evidence” was held on September 13, 2016 in Addis Ababa. The conference aimed to bring together policy stakeholders and researchers from across Ethiopia and to showcase and learn from IGC Ethiopia’s research, share ideas, experiences and best practices for achieving sustainable growth in Ethiopia.

Participants of the event included IGC staff members, Ethiopian policymakers and local and international researchers. In addition, the staff of EDRI, DFID, the Ethiopian Economics Association (EEA), Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations, Addis Ababa University, the Central Statistical Agency, Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the UNECA, the World Bank, and other local partners were invited.
