In October 2011, the IGC's Macroeconomics Programme convened for a workshop at the LSE to discuss the research agenda for fiscal and monetary policy in developing countries. Issues discussed included the goals of researchers for fiscal and monetary policy, an examination of fiscal policy and the cycle, aid, long-term growth among others.
