The October edition of Ideas for Growth leads with our examination of manufacturing leaders driving forward the Rwandan economy, and also discusses recent IGC research from Henrik Kleven (LSE) and co-authors which asks why modern governments are able to tax so efficiently.
The newsletter also higlights a critique of the Clean Development Mechanism in India from our Ideas for India website, and introduces new staff working at the IGC's London hub. It also notes the availability of Growth Week 2012 presentations online.
