Growth Week 2012 was the highlight of the September edition of Ideas for Growth.
Over 300 policy-makers, researchers, private sector representatives and media gathered in London from the 24th to 26th of September for our fourth annual Growth Week conference. The newsletter highlights some of the resources already available from Growth Week, including the public lecture in which Professors Paul Collier and Tony Venables suggest the ways in which 19th century London could serve as a model for growth in 21st century Africa.
Other stories from the newsletter include new research on road networks and infrastructure in Ethiopia, as well as profiles of IGC work in Bihar, Ghana and the Financial Times' This is Africa magazine.
