Aaron Weisbrod

Aaron Weisbrod is a PhD student at Brown University, and prior to this was an IGC Hub Economist and a Country Economist for IGC Myanmar. Aaron holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and received his Honours BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. Before joining the IGC, Aaron worked as an economic consultant, specialising in energy and competition economics. In this context, he helped research and prepare economic analyses and papers for cases in front of various European national regulators as well as the European Commission. Aaron’s research interests include energy economics, competition economics, and market structures, especially as they pertain to developing markets.
