Amit Khandelwal is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. His research interests lie in international trade. His recent work has focused on understanding the strategic responses of firms to trade liberalizations in both developed and developing countries. He received a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics at Northwestern University in 2002 and earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University in 2007.
