Ben Langford is currently a Senior Policy Advisor at HM Treasury. Prior to this, Ben worked as a Country Economist for IGC Tanzania, an economist at HM Treasury, and an Overseas Development Institute Fellow in the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED) in Uganda. At HM Treasury he worked in the Fiscal Policy and then Macroeconomic Prospects teams, and at MoFPED he worked for the Macroeconomic Policy Department on a range of fiscal policy, monetary policy, debt management and financial sector development issues. Ben holds a BA and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
