Michael Greenstone is at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of Economics. He has held previous academic appointments at the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Chicago and is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Professor Greenstone is Director of the Hamilton Project.
