Michele Savini Zangrandi joined the IGC Rwanda office in July 2011. Prior to joining the IGC, Michele collaborated with the World Bank and worked as economist under the Overseas Development Institute fellowship scheme at the Ministry of Education of Ghana. For the World Bank, Michele analyzed the efficiency of public expenditures and resource distribution in the Ghanaian education sector and at the Ministry of Education of Ghana. Michele supported the development of the sector strategic plan and its implementation framework. Michele holds a Bsc and an Msc in Economics from University College London.
