Mujobu Moyo is an In-Country Economist for the IGC’s Tanzania Office. Prior to joining, she designed, implemented and analysed large-scale socio-economic surveys in Tanzania on behalf of institutions such as the Tanzanian Government, the World Bank, the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Oxford University. She has been extensively involved in survey design, including the set-up of randomized control trials and the organisation of electronic surveys on handheld devices. In her capacity as a survey manager she has trained and led numerous field and data processing teams and negotiated large survey implementation contracts. Finally, she has been a key player in the analysis of survey data and in the dissemination of results.
Her expertise covers various data collection models such as short listing questionnaires, extensive structured household and firm questionnaires, qualitative interviews and experimental games.
She holds an MSc in Economics for Development from Oxford University and a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland.
