Nicola holds a dual degree in Political Economy and Economics from the University of Bologna and London School of Economics. His research interests vary from political economy of development to information flows in financial markets. His PhD research proposal focuses on the relationship between inequality and growth explained using a macro aspect such as the political business cycles and a micro challenge focusing on the social cohesion. He has been involved in two international NATO Simulation in 2009 and in 2010 and was the winner of the coveted Austin Claud Memorial Award for best candidate in the NATO working group 2010. He holds a BA from the University of Bologna in Economics and Political Science.
