Rema Hanna is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and a research fellow in the Sustainability Science Program at the University's Center for International Development. Her work focuses on the impact of public policy on economic development, focusing mainly on India. She received a BS in Public Policy from Cornell and a PhD in economics from MIT (2005). She was previously an Assistant Professor of Public Policy and Economics at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, New York University. Professor Hanna is an affiliate of the Poverty Action Lab and the Bureau for Research and Economic Analsysis for Development (BREAD).
