Christopher Beaton

Christopher Beaton is an Associate with IISD's Energy program. He conducts and manages research for IISD’s Global Subsidies Initiative (GSI), including identifying and measuring subsidies; estimating the impacts of reform through qualitative and quantitative methods; and the political economy of subsidy reform. He has worked on energy subsidy issues in a range of countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Nigeria and Thailand.
