Freda Asem is a lecturer at the University of Ghana in the Department of Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness. She graduated from the University of Ghana with a BA in Agricultural Economics. She obtained her MSc in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Alberta. She previously worked as Agricultural Business Manager at the Ghana Society for Development Dialogue. Her PhD proposal topic is: "Effect of value chain on the performance of Ghanaian horticulture farmers."
