Greg Fischer is a Research Programme Director for the IGC’s Firms research programme.
Greg Fischer is a Lecturer of Economics at the London School of Economics. He is also an Associate of the STICERD Economic Organisation and Public Policy programme. His research focuses on corporate finance, entrepreneurship, and financial innovation in developing countries.
Prior to returning to academia, Greg worked for nine years in the private equity and venture capital arms of Morgan Stanley and Centre Partners, an affiliate of Lazard. His current work includes the randomized evaluations of a business training program in the Dominican Republic and the pricing of new water treatment technology in Ghana.
