Researchers  

We partner with academics generating rigorous evidence on state fragility, governance, conflict, and development in challenging contexts. 

We welcome: 

• proposals for innovative empirical research; 
• ideas for synthesis work or frontier reviews; 
• collaborations that bridge academic insight and policy relevance. 

If you are developing a project at any stage that speaks to the drivers or consequences of fragility, we encourage you to reach out. We fund selected research, convene communities of practice, and help ensure that high-quality evidence reaches the policymakers who need it most. 

Policymakers and practitioners  

Policymakers, development institutions, DFIs, and practitioners can work with us through synthesis papers, policy briefs, roundtables, and workshops. If you face a challenge in a fragile or conflict-affected setting, we want to help translate evidence into action.
