Accounting for the unaccounted: Street vendors in India
Project Active from to Sustainable Growth and Firms
This project maps natural market allocation within an Indian city and collects new data on street vending, a largely unaccounted form of informal employment. Addressing occupational choice, vendor organisation, and the role of social and supply chain networks, it aims to bridge data gaps and inform future interventions that promote upward mobility and formalisation.
