Adaptation to climate risk: Evidence from cyclones and flooding in Bangladesh
Project Active from to Sustainable Growth and Energy
This project examines how adaptation to climate change impacts economic outcomes by analysing data on flooding and cyclones in Bangladesh. It focuses on three adaptation strategies—crop choice, sectoral employment in agriculture and migration—and uses a structural model to assess the welfare costs if these adaptation channels are unavailable.
