Advancing energy research with street-level consumption data
Project Active from to Sustainable Growth and Energy
This project, in collaboration with Lahore Electric Supply Company, evaluates the impact of aerial bundled cables and advanced meters in Lahore, Pakistan. The project installs advanced meters at treated and control transformers to monitor and verify electricity data, comparing it with manually collected data to identify discrepancies. The study investigates unscheduled load management, meter tampering, and meter-reader bias to improve data reliability and inform policymaking.
