Afghan women's education project
In Afghanistan, severe gender oppression and low literacy rates hinder women's role in household and community decisions. This project adapts a mobile intervention (ConnectEd) to explore whether providing foundational literacy and numeracy to Afghan women who can no longer attend school enhances their agency and resilience against economic shocks.
