This project examines the role of business expectations and sentiment in supporting monetary policy and economic forecasting in Ethiopia, with a focus on reforms to the country's monetary and foreign exchange policy framework. It explores how regular business surveys can provide timely indicators of inflation, output, employment, investment, and credit conditions, helping policymakers monitor economic trends and improve policy decisions.
