Competition and market access in online freelancing markets: Evidence from Pakistan

This project studies competition and access in online freelancing markets in Pakistan, home to the world’s third-largest population of freelancers. The study explores the reasons behind the emergence of middlemen in these markets and identifies strategies to enhance competition and facilitate market entry.
