Constraints to firm growth in the Copperbelt

Project Active from to Sustainable Growth and Firms

This project explores the challenges faced by local firms when engaging with the mining sector in Zambia’s Copperbelt. Using a random walk survey of 1,055 businesses in the town of Kitwe, it aims to identify barriers to participation in the mining global value chain, informing inclusive policies that support sustainable growth.
