Customs evasion in Rwanda
This project addresses the resource constraints that low- and middle-income countries face by focusing on trade taxes, a crucial revenue source. By analysing firm-level customs evasion using new datasets from Rwanda, the research seeks to uncover predictive firm characteristics and the role of intermediaries, offering insights for policymakers to enhance tax revenue collection.
