A decade long spatial and historical dataset on financial development in Bangladesh (2015–2024)
The project will create a detailed spatial and historical dataset on financial development in Bangladesh, combining traditional branch indicators with emerging channels such as agent banking to show how access has changed across regions. This resource will help policymakers, regulators, and development partners identify gaps in financial inclusion, support targeted interventions, and strengthen the country’s financial system.
