This project examines how responsible sourcing initiatives by multinational fashion companies impact the environmental efficiency of local Bangladeshi firms. By analysing the wastewater treatment performance of these firms, the research aims to understand how trading with multinational buyers can lead to more environmentally-friendly practices and support the government's environmental policies.
