Does unreliable electricity hold back technology adoption and growth?

Project Active from 1 Apr 2024 to 1 Oct 2025 Energy and Firms

This project leverages a natural experiment to provide evidence of the impact of electricity reliability on firm investment choices. By comparing economic outcomes in adjacent service areas with differing reliability, the study seeks to estimate the causal impact of improved electricity reliability over the long term.
