Electricity supply and firm agglomeration in Ghana

Project Active from 1 Apr 2024 to 31 Mar 2026 Sustainable Growth

This project examines how the allocation of electricity outages by utilities affects firm outcomes and economic growth in a low-income country. Using a unique spatial dataset and machine learning, it estimates the impact of outages on firm productivity and agglomeration in Ghana.
