Electronic vouchers for climate smart agriculture in Sierra Leone
Project Active from to Sustainable Growth and Farms
This project explores the potential of electronic vouchers (e-vouchers) to enhance the adoption of climate smart agriculture (CSA) practices in Sierra Leone. By conducting a randomised controlled trial with rice-farming households, the study investigates whether e-vouchers can reduce transaction costs and encourage farmers to adopt agroforestry seedlings, contributing to sustainable development and resilience against climate change.
