Evaluating the impact of grant funding on business growth and development
This project investigates whether business grants lead to greater revenue growth, job creation, and expansion compared to firms that do not receive them. It also examines whether grants improve a business’s classification and future access to finance, using both administrative data and business surveys. The findings aim to guide policymakers and donors in designing more effective grant programmes that support inclusive and sustainable economic development.
