Enhancing female labour force participation (FLFP) through Sharia-compliant microfinance and micro-equity impact evaluation

Project Active from to Sustainable Growth, Firms and Trade

This project addresses youth unemployment and low female labour force participation (FLFP) in Jordan by testing flexible, socially and religiously acceptable loan products. By employing rank-weighted randomisation to analyse loan preferences and utilising performance monitoring to evaluate recipient outcomes, the project supports the National Aid Fund in identifying effective loan models and assessing their return on investment.
