Frontiers of graduation: Building resilience and sustainable livelihoods in urban India

Project Active from to Sustainable Growth, Inclusive Growth and State Effectiveness

This project tackles urban poverty in rapidly urbanising Bihar, India, by adapting the Graduation Approach to the Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana programme. In partnership with JEEViKA, it refines livelihood strategies using household data and field experiments, focusing on municipal employment and cooperatives while laying the groundwork for a randomised controlled trial.
