Green foreign direct investment in Africa
Project Active from to Sustainable Growth, Firms and Trade
This project explores the opportunities and challenges of the global green transition in low- and middle-income countries. Using mixed methods, it creates a nuanced dataset on green inward foreign direct investment (FDI) for IGC countries and conducts a case study of Rwanda, using global value chains (GVC) mapping and interviews, to explore policy initiatives for green growth via FDI and GVC integration.
