Heat stress affects women and men differently. This project investigates its differential impacts on gendered labour market outcomes in Ethiopia’s manufacturing sector, focusing on female workers in skilled and unskilled roles and firms' adaptation strategies. The findings inform policies to reduce adverse effects on women, promote gender equality, and enhance productivity.
