Increasing revenue collection with computer vision: Experiments in Pakistan

Project Active from 1 Feb 2025 to 30 Sep 2026 Tax and State Effectiveness

This project studies the impact of a computer vision algorithm on property tax revenue, citizen perceptions, and corruption reduction in Punjab, Pakistan. By leveraging property images and tax data, the algorithm aims to improve tax assessment accuracy and efficiency, enhancing fairness and transparency in tax collection.
