Infrastructure, industrial policy, and economic development

Project Active from 1 Apr 2024 to 30 Sep 2026 Sustainable Growth

This project investigates why road construction alone has not driven growth in Zambia and whether combining infrastructure with industrial initiatives like zones can catalyse development. It also addresses the trade-offs between funding industrial zones and limited road development versus expansive road networks to support broader economic activities.
