Key policy messages for Pakistan’s new government
Ahead of the upcoming general elections in Pakistan, there is a growing perception that the government administration will be overhauled as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) forms a new government. In the case that PTI does not form a government, the country team will still be keen to engage with the new government regardless of the party.
The primary objective of this project is to prepare a policy report based on key policy messages from IGC Pakistan's star projects to date, and then proceed to share it with the new government. This project will undertake three stages:
- The country team will develop a template that will collate key policy messages for the programme’s star projects to date;
- Once the template is complete, the researcher will do a formal write up based on the template;
- The report will then be shared with the new government by IGC Pakistan's country leadership. The Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) team will also help disseminate the report using its platform.
