Labelling microloans for climate adaptation
Project Active from to State Effectiveness, State and Sustainable Growth
This study investigates whether labelling microloans for climate adaptation can increase the adoption of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) among smallholder farmers in Uganda, using a randomised controlled trial within the Parish Development Model. By examining both behavioural nudges through loan labelling and the role of tailored technical assistance, the research aims to inform scalable microfinance and agricultural policies that enhance climate resilience.
