Large-scale agricultural investments and social cohesion: The role of institutions
Project Active from to Sustainable Growth, Inclusive Growth and State Effectiveness
This project examines how large-scale agricultural investments (LSAIs) affect local institutions and social cohesion in Liberia. Using surveys, experiments, and public good games, it investigates whether LSAIs shift institutional preferences and how those shifts influence village-level cohesion, particularly when benefits are unevenly distributed. Findings inform strategies for inclusive growth.
