The local multiplier effect of industrial jobs in Ethiopia

Project Active from 3 Feb 2025 to 2 Feb 2026 Sustainable Growth and Firms

Industrialisation and structural transformation are key to Ethiopia’s development strategy. This project, which uses granular data to estimate the local multiplier effect, investigates how attracting formal economy investors can indirectly generate informal manufacturing and service jobs in Ethiopia.
