Mapping and Monitoring Informal Resilience: Evidence from Savings Groups in Urban and Rural Mozambique
Project Active from to Cities, economic growth and sustainable growth
This project explores how community savings groups in urban and rural Mozambique can strengthen household resilience to shocks such as illness, flooding and theft. It maps the distribution of these groups and gathers data on how they respond to economic shocks and support their members. The findings aim to inform disaster risk management and adaptive social protection policies through scalable, community-based financial solutions.
