Quantifying the revenue implications of the AfCFTA for Rwanda

Project Active from to Sustainable Growth, State Effectiveness and Tax

Using simulation models and trade data from Rwanda's ASYCUDA system, this project examines the revenue impact of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) on Rwanda. It focuses on tariff reductions, potential revenue losses, and a product-level analysis of proposed tariff changes, with the aim of informing policy strategies to mitigate negative revenue impacts.
