Reducing sewer blockages through improved targeting

Project Active from 1 Apr 2024 to 28 Feb 2026 Sustainable Growth and Cities that Work

This project uses administrative data from the City of Cape Town to better understand the location and welfare impacts of sewer blockages. It evaluates past interventions to compare the effects of improving the sewer system versus enhancing household knowledge of better sewer usage.
