Representative survey of RMG exporters on US tariff impacts
Project Active from to Firms and Trade
This study examines how U.S. trade policy uncertainty, driven by shifting tariff threats, affects Bangladeshi garment exporters and their labour demand. Using a novel panel survey of 2,000 manufacturers, the research analyses employment and buyer responses across firms with varying exposure to U.S. trade risks.
