The role of digital platforms in improving online trade and reshaping contractual norms?
This project examines whether digital contracting tools within mobile money platforms can improve trust, increase trade, and reshape informal market practices in sub-Saharan Africa. Partnering with Wave Mobile Money in Côte d’Ivoire, the study uses a randomised evaluation to test scalable interventions that support inclusive digital trade and SME development.
