Solving barriers to quality female representation in politics

Project Active from 30 Oct 2024 to 30 Sep 2025 Women's Economic Empowerment and State Effectiveness

This project investigates demand-side barriers preventing highly qualified women from running for local office in Sierra Leone's local council elections. By assessing gender biases among voters, local party elites, and leaders, the project aims to inform policies that support women's political participation and inclusive policymaking.
