Stability of the exchange rate reform in Ethiopia: A multi method assessment

Project Active from 28 Aug 2025 to 31 Oct 2025 Sustainable Growth, State and State Effectiveness

Ethiopia’s 2024 exchange rate reform aimed to unify the official and parallel market rates by introducing a market-based regime to address long-standing external imbalances. This project assesses the reform’s stability and effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative methods.
