Project Active from to Sustainable Growth, Cities and Waste
This project investigates how local authorities together with informal waste collectors can provide effective municipal waste management in Accra, Ghana. The project identifies which frictions currently hinder effective waste management and assesses which policies are most suitable for improving collection and disposal rates as well as household and collector welfare.
