Transforming governance: Accountability, information, and inclusive growth in India's districts

Project Active from to State Effectiveness and Sustainable Growth

This project evaluates the Aspirational Districts Programme in India, one of the largest policy-monitoring exercises in the world, examining its impact on public service delivery, investments, corruption, and district development. It also explores how informing citizens about government performance influences their beliefs, participation, and demands for government accountability.
